Jacquard iDye Fixative (Natural Fiber Color Fixative)

iDye Fixative is a cationic resin used as a post-treatment for dyed fabrics.
iDye Fixative can be used on most 100% natural fabrics:
Cottons, bedding, rayon, hemp, etc., as well as silk and animal fibers (Not suitable for synthetic fabrics).

It increases wash fastness and prevents dye bleeding. It can also be used with other negatively charged dyes such as Procion MX, Concentrated Vinyl Sulphon, Remazol dyes, and commercially dyed fabrics that may bleed.

One 88 ml bottle treats 4–8 kg of fabric
NOTE: Utensils and pots used for this process should not be used for food.

BUCKET METHOD:

1. Dye the garments with iDye according to iDye instructions.

2. Rinse the excess dye from the garment with an extra wash cycle in cold water.

3. Fill a bucket or tub with enough warm water to cover the fabric.

4. Add 1–2 tablespoons of iDye Fixative per 1.4 kg of dry fabric weight, stir to mix, then add the damp fabric. Soak for at least 15 minutes.

5. Stir frequently to ensure even absorption of iDye Fixative. Rinse the garment.

WASHING MACHINE METHOD:

1. Dye the garments with iDye according to iDye instructions.

2. Rinse the excess dye from the garment with an extra wash cycle in cold water.

3. Fill the washing machine with enough warm water for the fabric to move freely.

4. Add 1–2 tablespoons of iDye Fixative per 3 lb / 1.4 kg of dry fabric weight, stir to mix, then add the damp fabric.

5. Run the garment through a full wash cycle.
