Jacquard deCOLOURANT – Colour remover for natural fabrics 236 ml

deColourant is a ready-to-use printing paste designed to remove areas of colour from dyed natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk and wool.

Unlike bleach, deColourant removes colour without compromising the integrity of the fibre.

deColourant is activated by heat. If you don't like the result, simply wash it out: nothing happens until heat is applied to the deColourant print.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Apply with a brush, stamp, sponge, applicator, stencil or by screen printing.
• Leave to dry, then iron at the highest temperature suitable for the type of fabric.
• For greater colour removal, steam iron.
• A heat gun can also be used, especially if the print is still damp.
• At this stage, the colour will begin to disappear.
• Once the colour has been removed, wash the fabric with Synthrapol or a mild detergent to restore its natural softness.

NOTES

• When removing dye from a fabric, the resulting colour will not always be white.
• Some dyes are more susceptible to colour removal than others.
• We recommend testing beforehand ahead of large-scale production.

CAUTION

May cause eye, skin and throat irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Do not apply by spraying. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If affected by inhaling vapours, get some fresh air. Use in a well-ventilated area.
