Synthetic felt pillbox base – for wide-brim hats and fascinators

Bases made from high-quality synthetic felt, composed of 35% cotton and 65% polyester, designed as a base structure to be sewn to a brim to create wide-brim hats in sinamay, felt, natural braided straw or other materials.

The pillbox design provides a stable, lightweight and versatile base, ideal both for brimmed hats and for direct use as a pillbox base in fascinators and structured hats.

They come without any inner fastening system (headband, elastic or comb), giving you complete creative freedom and the option to adapt the fastening to the needs of each design.

In the product images we have included examples of finished wide-brim hats, made from this pillbox base sewn to a wide-brim hat brim, so you can see the final result and the real proportions once assembled.

Joining the base and the brim is simple and neat; sewing is especially recommended for a professional, durable finish. It can also be fixed with a hot glue gun, although this option is less advisable, as the join is weaker.

The end result is elegant, balanced and highly professional, as you can see in the product photos.
