One of the most fundamental tools are needles, and here we have them in multiple shapes, sizes, and types, both for hand and machine sewing. Keep all your needles and pins safe with our fabric pincushions. The sewing thimbles prevent the user from getting pricked by the needles.
The sewing scissors have a small blade ideal for cutting thread, unlike the tailor's scissors, which have a pair of long and sharp blades, perfect for cutting fabric. But they are not the only cutting tools we have here. You can also find cutters and their corresponding replacement blades.
You’ll often need drawing tools, whether it’s for sketching out the costume or an adornment you want to make, for marking cutting lines, or many other things. For all this, it will be useful to have chalk pencils or our markers at hand.
It’s common for stored fabrics to become wrinkled over time, especially if they have not been stored neatly! If this happens to you, forget about taking out the ironing board. Our vertical steam irons are much faster to use and require nothing more. You can use them also for the rest of the clothes in your wardrobe!
Embroidery is also a technique that can be used in the making of anime cosplays and the like. To practice it, you’ll need an embroidery hoop like the ones we have here. You can also use them as an original frame and hang it on the wall!
You may already know your own measurements perfectly if you are a veteran in cosplay. Otherwise, or if you want to make a costume for someone else, you will need a tailor's measuring tape. It will also be useful for taking measurements of clothing and all kinds of objects that a carpenter's tape measure cannot.
