How do you use the color wheel?
The primary colors on the wheel are yellow, red, and blue. From these three shades, all other colors can be created. Between each pair of primary colors are obtained by mixing them, the secondary colors. Tertiary colors are mixed between primary and secondary tones.
Pick a color, and then see which color is directly in front of it on the color wheel. Those two are complementary colors. Complementary colors are colors that contrast strongly with each other, so when used together in a logo, both colors are bold and eye-catching.
