Hood made from paper fibre, a light, versatile material widely used in contemporary millinery for its regularity, ease of working and excellent aesthetic qualities. Its fine, uniform weave, together with the frayed edge of the brim, gives a fresh, modern feel, ideal for spring–summer designs.
It has a 12 cm high crown and a total diameter of 45 cm, corresponding to a standard size of 58 cm. Thanks to its balanced structure, it can be used both for blocking work on a hat block and for wearing directly on the head, just as it is, as a finished base.
Paper fibre offers a good combination of flexibility and stability, allowing it to be shaped with gentle steam and stiffener to be applied afterwards if you wish to increase stiffness for the final design.
