This stiffened Buckram without fusible adhesive is an interfacing we can use for special millinery and dressmaking work such as skull caps, bases, shirt collars, pockets, corsets, skirt waistbands, buttonholes, etc.
It also gives body to lightweight fabrics and stops heavier ones from folding over on themselves. It is mouldable and pliable, making it ideal for pleating, small trims, leaves, etc.
The stiffener is activated with water or steam, and it can be sewn by machine or by hand.
Bear the thickness in mind before starting your work.
