Hat block made of ABS. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, or ABS, is a highly impact-resistant plastic widely used in the automotive industry and for other industrial and household purposes. It is an amorphous thermoplastic. These hat blocks are light, stackable, washable and portable, they weigh very little and, best of all, they are affordably priced.
