Superb felt stiffener

Instructions for use / Application:

If you add thinner to straw or felt stiffener, you will find that this film of residue no longer remains. Use approximately 2/3 stiffener to 1/3 thinner (for example, our product DILU150J/_DILUYENTE). This means you will need to apply 3 light coats, leaving 2 hours for each to dry completely, and you can also use it under the brim. Apply with a natural-bristle brush. A stiff brush works well. Work the stiffener into the felt with vigorous strokes, with a small amount on the brush at a time. Light brushing tends to leave stiffener residue (snail trails) on the felt, as does too much stiffener on the brush.

Test on felt offcuts with thinner mixed with your felt stiffener. You may need to use more or less than the ratio given above.

Caution:

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
Use explosion-proof electrical / ventilating / lighting equipment.
Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water / shower.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Dispose of contents / container in accordance with local / regional / national / international regulations.
