Elastic thread is a modern thread made from a new material for highly flexible seams.
Its great advantage is its very smooth surface with a soft feel. This thread is therefore mainly used for seams that are in contact with the body on the reverse side. It allows a classic lockstitch to be used where a very fine stitch would otherwise be required because of the elasticity of the seam. The thread can be used to sew stretch materials, swimwear and elastane materials.
Designed for industrial machines.
The spool on which the thread is wound has a base diameter of 7.5 cm.
