COTTON-COVERED WIRE 0.30 MM X 10 M

This is galvanised wire covered with cotton thread. It is used in the millinery industry for inserting into the outer edge of a hat brim, making it possible to create unique shapes.

It is also used in forestry and flower making, as well as in the manufacture of jewellery, furniture, accessories and clothing.

Thanks to its special cotton covering, it has a non-slip feel.

Cotton-covered millinery wire is very versatile, ductile and malleable, which makes it easy to handle, and it is also relatively lightweight.

Millinery wire tips:

1.2 mm: a useful extra-firm wire for creating rigid hat structures
1.0 mm: a firm wire that is suitable for hat structures, flower stems and lighter brims
0.30 mm: Almost like a thread, this thin wire is excellent for securing trims and creating flower stems.
